Looking for a little extra SnowBall magic? Our VIP reception (starting at 8 p.m.) features complimentary champagne toast, open bar, and heavy hors d’oeuvres. Get to know other SnowBallers in a more intimate and exclusive (aka fancy-schmancy) setting, making it so much easier to show off that spiffy new tux or sparkly dress.
And the best part part: being a VIP doesn’t have to mean breaking the bank! Individual tickets are just $35 more than a regular ticket (and you’ll get enough champagne to make it worth it). And if you purchase a VIP “couples” ticket (one ticket admits two people), you save even more!
So don’t wait, because there are just a limited number of VIP tickets available! You definitely don’t want to miss out.
5) Our ticket prices won’t break the bank
SnowBall is one of the few winter galas in Boston that allows you to buy tickets and still have money leftover to buy some electronic gift for your parents that they will never use.
4) Ladies, admit it, you still try on your prom dress
Sometimes it’s really nice to actually put effort into your appearance. Ladies, buy the sparkliest dress you can find. And who doesn’t love a guy in a tux?
3) Sometimes you just need to dance
Skip the clubs where you have a higher chance of having a drink spilled on you then having a good time. Our dance floor stays hopping from Kahootz’s first note to their finale.
2) You need a new Facebook profile photo
There will be tons of photo ops to allow you to show that your life is way better then your friends. You’re dressed up and being charitable? That will earn you some likes.
1) You want to earn some Karma points
The best and most important part of SnowBall – All the proceeds raised through SnowBall 2013 will be dispersed to Boston-area youth organizations that are in need of funds. We will inform all our guests throughout the year where funds are going and encourage you to get involved with the organizations we donate to.
It’s official! Tickets to the 2013 SnowBall are on sale now!
Join us on December 13, 2013 at the Sheraton Boston Hotel and help us raise funds for youth programs in Greater Boston! SCA;s mission is to support deserving organizations throughout the year, so we donate all proceeds from the SnowBall directly to charity. Dear SnowBall community past, present, and future:
After 25 years of supporting youth programs in Greater Boston (and having a blast in the process), we need a little break. We’re going through some organizational changes and therefore will be postponing the SnowBall for this year. As an all-volunteer organization, we’re susceptible to the whims of personal lives: weddings, jobs, babies, relocations…
While this is bittersweet, of course, we look forward coming back stronger than ever in 2013! Stay tuned for updates. In the meantime, don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions, concerns, or zany ideas.
-Scott and Katy, Co-Presidents
